Is a working internet connection required to use the Sony LIVTM app?
Yes, the Sony LIVTM app requires a working internet connection. Your data is retrieved from the live Sony LIVTM servers. Android phones/tablets can retrieve data over 2G or 3G cellular networks as well as over Wi-Fi local area networks.
Can I add videos to MY QTM from my Android phone or tablet?
Yes, you can add to and watch videos in MY QTM from your Android phone or tablet. You can access your MY QTM from the playlist option on your device. You can even access it by clicking on 'My Profile'. You need to click on the '+' sign if you want to add videos to MY QTM.
Can I follow or unfollow shows from my Android phone or tablet?
Yes, you can follow shows from your Android phone or tablet. You can access shows you have followed by clicking on 'Shows Followed' and view your followed shows. You can also go to the 'Shows' section and click on 'Manage Followed Shows' to see the list of shows you can follow. You can also follow a show from the show page itself.
Will my personalization settings from the www.SonyLIV.com display in Sony LIVTM mobile applications?
By signing into Sony LIVTM mobile applications, your followed shows, MY QTM, profile page, likes and comments within the app will display on the www.SonyLIV.com website. Note, there may be a delay of 10-60 minutes for activity made within the Sony LIVTM app to display on the Sony LIVTM website.
Can I move the app to my SD card?
Yes. You can move the app to your SD card by going to the Settings screen. Click on Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Sony LIV and then click on 'Move to SD card'.
How do I install a widget?
After installing the latest version of the Sony LIVTM app, you can install the Sony LIVTM widget on your Android device. On your home screen, do a "long press", click 'Widgets' on the message box and then select Sony LIVTM.
My data hasn't refreshed. What do I do?
The Sony LIVTM saves your most recent visits on the device. If you believe the data hasn't refreshed you can force a refresh by doing the following:
1. Open the Options menu from your home screen
2. Click the "Settings" button
3. Click on "Applications"
4. Click on "Manage Applications"
5. Select "Sony LIVTM" from the list
6. Click on the "Clear cache" button
