A young woman Sheela is found murdered - shot in the chest by her landlady, Malti. The society watchman tells CID that the night Sheela was murdered, three men came to visit her. An investigation reveals that two of these men found Sheela dead when they went to see her. Are the alibis of all three men reliable?
