The rookie member of a bomb squad is killed while defusing a bomb. The case is brought to CID to investigate, who realise that despite initial evidence suggesting it was an accident, the case was anything but that. This was not a routine gone wrong, but a sinister murder planned meticulously by a very clever murderer.
