Shyam and his oarsman, Prabhakar, sail a river in Konkan, but the trip turns tense when Shyam says he will marry Shalu, Prabhakar's girlfriend. Prabhakar tries to drown him in crocodile-filled waters, and Shyam must find a way to escape.
