Billu tells Gopi, on night duty at Chowki, a terrifying tale. A postman delivers a letter for Inspector Satish Sautan, but Satish's friend arrives and says Satish died 40 years ago and his spirit may come to Chowki. He warns the hawaldars not to anger him, or he will bite them and turn the whole staff into ghosts.
