When Guin is lost at sea, Istavan and the royal twins seek refuge on a mysterious island. Unfortunately, the pirates are in hot pursuit, though they are not the only dangerous force on this strange paradise. Meanwhile, Duke Norisse and Lady Amnelis' continue their courtship.
