Gopuda, an eccentric man from Hatiposha, arrives in Moglaipara, where he rents a wooden attic from Bhupal Pal. Proudly claiming to have travelled to 168 countries and taken on all sorts of jobs, Gopuda enthrals his landlord's son, Gadai, and friends with incredible and fantastical tales of his travels. While his landlord is constantly exasperated by his antics, Gadai and his friends are mesmerized by his strange and thrilling adventures.
