Kotoko is supposed to spend Christmas eve with Jinko and Satomi, but they cancel on her unexpectedly. Kotoko is now all alone at the Irie family's house. Meanwhile, on his way to Shigeki's company's 20th anniversary party, Naoki sees Jinko and her boyfriend in town. On the other hand, Kinnosuke coincidentally encounters Satomi and her boyfriend at the restaurant Aihara. Kinnosuke decides to surprise Kotoko, since she is spending Christmas eve all alone...
