Tukoji and Ahilya trap Khanderao in the storeroom, where Ahilya finally gets to sit down and talk with him. Meanwhile, Malhar has decided to begin Ahilya's education. But, will Gautama agree to this decision?

Ahilya answers all the questions correctly, which enrages Khanderao and Gautama. Khanderao is not willing to talk to Ahilya at all, but Tukoji comes up with an idea that will surely make him come around.

Khanderao's test begins, Malhar and Gautama are present to oversee their son's performance, while Ahilya watches from a distance. Meanwhile, Dwarka decides to question Gunoji about the attack that took place on Basant Panchami.

While searching for Khanderao, Ahilya walks in during his lesson. She gets fascinated by the lessons and starts listening to them from a distance. Meanwhile, Malhar plans a counterattack against the Nizam's forces.

In order to show his appreciation for Khanderao, Malhar orders for his favourite dish to be made. Khanderao is bitter towards Ahilya and keeps avoiding her. Meanwhile, Dwarka begins to suspect that Gunoji and Dhanaji had something to do with the attack.

Yeshaji tries to execute Malhar in front of the entire crowd, but Malhar was able to stop him in his tracks by staying one step ahead. After the attack, Malhar convenes a secret meeting with Tukoji.

Khanderao and Ahilya find Renu, lying unconscious in the storeroom of the haveli. Meanwhile, the eve of Basant Panchami arrives and Yeshaji is all ready to execute his plan.

Renu is captured by Yeshaji and is being held captive by his men. Ahilya is worried for her friend, while Malhar has put all the guards on duty to search for her.

Ahilya visits Khanderao, but he is still upset and wants nothing to do with her. Meanwhile, Renu overhears Yeshaji and his co-conspirators, planning their attack.
