Vayudev forces the other Gods to return Maruti's life and takes back the components of air from the earth, even deciding to immolate himself. Indra Dev realizes his mistake, seeks Tridev's advice, and asks them to restore Maruti. Maruti returns to life, and Mahadev, Brahma, and the other Gods bless him with immortality and invincibility.
