The Evil king Ravan is baffled when he learns that Hanuman has managed to escape the wrath of the Brahmastra, the weapon that spells death and which is feared by every King and every God including Lord Ram himself. However, Ravan remains confident that the skills that he possesses will definitely give him victory and he proudly announces that he will put an end to Hanuman and his entire Vanar Sena. He then calls for the renowned illusionist, Kaalnimi who has the power to be present in all the three worlds at the same time. Will Kaalnimi succeed in his endeavour to kill the mighty Hanuman?
Hanuman approaches Kaalnimi, who is disguised as a sage, and asks his help to select the right herb which is required to save Lakhshman's life. Kaalnimi immediately gets ready to trap Hanuman and he sends him into a lake in order to purify himself but does not reveal to him that the lake spells death for Hanuman. Hanuman innocently takes the advice of the sage and reaches the lake. He takes a dip in it, with his eyes closed and ends up fighting a crocodile. Lord Vishnu begins to narrate the tale of Ram bhakt, Hanuman, and starts by how the Gods of the five elements and the sapthrishis in distress, had visited the abode of Lord Vishnu, with a cry for help. As Vishnu finds out that Raavan has made inappropriate use of the boon bestowed by Brahma on him, he decides to bring an end to this demon, himself. He declares that he will be taking the human form of Lord Ram. At the same time, Lord Shiva is seen chanting the name of Lord Ram. Parvati sees him curiously and enquires about this new name that she has heard for the first time. Shiva goes on to explain about Vishnu's divine plan and adds that he too will be a part of this war of good versus evil, as he will be taking the form of Ram bhakt Hanuman. How will Lord Vishnu and Shiva bring an end to the egoistic Raavan?
Lord Vishnu narrates the tale of Hanuman's confrontation with Shani Dev. While Shani Dev is adamant on entering his body in order to bring out the real effects of Shani into him, Hanuman refuses to give him any place within him as, he declares, that Lord Ram occupies every cell of his body. Shani however, does make an attempt to enter into his head but fails miserably. Lord Vishnu then continues by narrating the tale of Hanuman's birth to one of the divine dancers of the heavens, Punjiksthala. Witness the divine birth of Lord Hanuman here.
All the ladies at Vaikunta Loka are left wondering as to how Punjiksthala had a vision of herself giving birth to Hanuman and Vishnu clarifies that Punjiksthala was having a vision of her next birth where she will be born as Anjana, and will be giving birth to a Vanar due to a curse. Vishnu reveals that Punjiksthala was initially given a boon that she will be having a baby although she is an Apsara. As days pass, Punjiksthala tries to forget about this boon, but one day she ends up getting a curse from a sage whose penance she destroys, by mistake. Will this curse too turn out to be a blessing in disguise for Punjiksthala.
Narayana is shocked when he finds half of his body submerged into a thick layer of snow. He immediately realizes the power of Ram naam that Hanuman had been chanting all this while, and he asks Hanuman to rescue him. Later, Vishnu once again continues to narrate the tale of Hanuman's birth. Punjiksthala is now reborn as the daughter of Vanar Raj, Kunjar and is known for her beauty and divine, unmatchable skills. But Punjiksthala who is now named, Anjana is still not completely fit to give birth to Hanuman and hence is made to go through several complicated tests, including her encounter with the demon, Shambsadhan.
Kesari reaches the abode of the sages. Seeing him, Anjana is mesmerized. She goes on to notice the chain made of Rudraksh, that she had offered to Rishi Brahaspati, around Kesari's neck and immediately understands the divine play of the gods. Meanwhile, the sages plead with Kesari to stop Shambsadhan, who is always trying to ruin their yagna and Kesari agrees to stand guard while the yagna commences.
Kesari and Anjana finally get married and speak to each other just by looking at one another. Vishnu later, narrates the tale of Hanuman's unfathomable devotion towards his Lord. Vishnu narrates the anecdote from Hanuman's life where he innocently pours sindoor over his entire body in order to impress his Lord. Apparently, Hanuman misunderstands the significance of the sindoor that he sees Sita wearing and innocently wears it all over his body to get Lord Rama's attention.
