Sugriva requests Lord Ram to let him fight against Kumbhakarna. Sugriva rushes towards Kumbhakarna and asks him to not attack Lord Ram's army. Hanuman assures all the soldiers that they will ultimately win the holy war. Kumbhakarna attacks Sugriva with the help of his mace. Later, he swallows a few soldiers.
