Lord Shiva hurls Pashupatastra, a weapon that consumes energy from various creatures, towards Hanuman. Sita requests Parvati to stop Lord Shiva from attacking Hanuman. Parvati appears on the battleground and throws the 'pashupatastra' in the ocean. She advises Lord Shiva to not fight against Hanuman.
