Hanuman requests Sage Chyawan to come to Ayodhya to grace the ashwamedha yagya with his presence. He accepts the invitation and Hanuman lifts Sage Chyawan on his hands and heads towards Ayodhya. Sage Chyawan instructs Hanuman to ensure that his sleep is not interrupted throughout their journey. However, Nikumbh's demons attack Hanuman in a jungle.
