Jethalal is upset when he learns that Iyer left the bag containing the tricolour in the auto. The residents are shocked when they learn that the celebrations are canceled. However, they are in for a pleasant surprise when an autorickshaw driver comes and gives them the flag that Iyer had misplaced. An overwhelmed Jethalal asks the driver to hoist the flag.
