Takshak deceitfully acquires the kundals by disguising himself as an elderly, injured sage. Utank successfully reclaims the kundals by using mantras, but Takshak's move sows a seed of hatred in his mind against the snakes. So, when he gets a chance to be a chief priest of Sarp Medha Mahayagya, he readily accepts it. Meanwhile, Utank's move perturbs Mansa, as she is supposed to send her beloved son, Aastik, to protect the snakes. Will Aastik succeed in saving the snakes?
