Chandradhar thought that Ganesh is Lord Shiva himself who has come to visit him. He unknowingly broke his vow to not eat, drink, or even blink his eyes until he is greeted by the lord. Distraught, Chandradhar reassumes his position under the tree, refusing to move. However, Ganesh has a trick up his sleeve to shake Chandradhar's resolve.
