Akushiba tells Akiyuki the tragic story of how Raigyo came to be infected with the same spirit that lives within him. Both accounts reveal a mysterious connection with the strange, cult-like white-haired people. Feeling a kindred soul, Raigyo begins to train Akiyuki in how to use the Xam'd spirit to his advantage and his survival.
