Andrey Rublev stormed into his historic first-ever Australian Open 2021 quarterfinals after Casper Ruud retired in the third set with an abdominal injury. Rublev was leading 6-2, 7-6 before Ruud called it quits. He will now face Daniil Medvedev, who also picked up a win over McDonald in the fourth round.
