After two forgetful days of Test cricket, India made significant improvements on Day 3 of the Leeds Test, bowling England out for 432 runs to chase a massive 354-run lead heading into their second innings. Despite KL Rahul's early departure, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara fought bravely in tough, overcast conditions to form a crucial 82-run partnership before Robinson gave England a big breakthrough with Sharma's wicket. Pujara's aggressive approach stunned the hosts as the former Yorkshire batsman went on to score 91 runs. Captain Virat Kohli batted confidently and with purpose, scoring an unbeaten 45 runs featuring some trademark shots.
