England defeated India by 100 runs in the second ODI at the Lord's Cricket Ground to level the series 1-1. After being put to bat, England got off to a strong start with openers Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow. Hardik Pandya got the first breakthrough, and Yuzvendra Chahal starred with the ball with four wickets as India bowled out England for 246. Chasing a target of 247 runs, India struggled to get going and lost wickets at regular intervals, and they bundled out for a paltry 146 runs in 38.5 overs.
