India secured the first win of their tour of England as Mithali Raj guided the team to victory with an unbeaten knock of 75. At one stage, the hosts targeted to post a total above 250, but Deepti Sharma and others struck at regular intervals and kept them down to 219. With 220 runs to win, India started well, led by Smriti Mandhana at the top. England bounced back into the game as they picked up crucial wickets.
