After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, New Zealand managed to put just 132 runs on the board in their first innings as the England pacers displayed some magnificent swing bowling. In reply, England could only score 141 and get a nine-run lead. In the second innings, the Kiwis struggled initially but somehow posted 285 runs, thanks to Daryl Mitchell's ton and Tom Blundell's 96 runs. Chasing 277, Zak Crawley and Alex Lees gave England a decent start. But Kyle Jamieson sent both the openers back to the pavilion before dismissing Jonny Bairstow to leave the hosts in a spot of bother at 69 for 4. From there on, Joe Root and Ben Stokes rebuilt the innings, with the former scoring a fine century. In the end, England achieved the target with five wickets in hand in the first session of day four's play. Watch the highlights, right here on Sony LIV.
