Jonny Bairstow led England to a famous victory at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, as the hosts took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Daryl Mitchell helped New Zealand add 60 runs in the first session and set 299 runs as the target for the hosts. England looked troubled at 93/4 after Zak Crawley departed for a duck, and Joe Root was set back for 3. But, Bairstow and Stokes changed their stance in the 3rd session and tilted the match in favour of the hosts.
