In an very engaging game, Liverpool has won the FA Community Shield over the Premier League defending champions Manchester City. It was a day to forget for Erling Haaland and Manchester City but on the other hand, one to remember for Liverpool and their new striker, Darwin Nunez. The Reds scored three goals which came from Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Nunez. For Man City, it was Alvarez who netted one.
