Chelsea managed to edge out Zenit on matchday 1 of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League season, defeating them 1-0 at Stamford Bridge. The winning goal came in the 69th minute, and it was none other than Romelu Lukaku scoring as the Belgian got on the end of a beautiful cross from Cesar Azpilicueta to head home the goal.
