PSG kicked off their 2021/22 UEFA Champions League campaign with a disappointing performance as they were held to a 1-1 against Club Brugge. The visitors took the lead in the 15th minute, with Ander Herrera getting on the end of a Kylian Mbappe cross to break the deadlock. Club Brugge levelled the match 12 minutes later, and it was their captain Hans Vanaken who scored as he finished off a pass from Eduard Sobol.
