Tottenham got off to a disappointing start in their UEFA Conference League 2021/22 campaign as they were held to a 2-2 draw against Rennes. The visitors took the lead early on thanks to an own goal from Loic Bade, but Rennes managed to level in the 23rd minute with Flavien Tait scoring. The hosts ended up taking the lead in the 71st minute, with Gaëtan Laborde scoring from close range.
