In the main event, ex-champion Robert Whittaker locked horns with Darren "The Gorilla" Till in a bloody and brutal battle. The co-main event was a fine conclusion to the trilogy of the legends, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Fabrico Werdum and Alexander Gustafsson fought in a thrilling bout, while Carla Esparza took on Marina Rodrigues in the only women's bout of the evening.
